#Tistheseasonathon | Day ONE
Dear bookbugs,
It is the day three of Blogmas and the beginning of the holiday readathon #tistheseasonathon!!
This is a readathon hosted by one of my favorite Booktubers, Heather from Bookables.
Since this is the first day I would like to share the books that I am going to read for each challenge.
-
Read a book with red or green on the cover :
I am reading Christmas At Little Beach Street Bakery by Jenny Colgan. Until I started the audiobook today, I didn’t realize it was the third book in a series. However, so far that didn’t affect the story. The cover has both red and green on it. Hence I am giving it a go.
-
Read a book while listening to holiday music
-
Read a warm and fuzzy book
I am reading A Very Lucky Christmas by Lilac Mills for both these challenges. I got some 1940’s Christmas music on Amazon Prime Music. It goes pretty well with the book I should say. And it is funny, warm and fuzzy so far.
-
Read a short book
After searching a lot, I found this book accidentally, The Christmas Forest by Rebecca Boxall. I started this book on the first of December and only then realized it is a novella. And then I immediately set it aside for the readathon. Hope that is ok because I couldn’t find any other short books.
-
Read a holiday-themed book
Almost all these books are holiday themed. So you can consider any one of the above for this challenge.
There is a bonus read challenge which I won’t be a part of. I think three books are all that I could manage in a single week.
If you are participating in #tistheseasonathon or any other holiday-themed readathon share those books and challenges in the comments. Would love to know about them.
Happy readathon!!
A great read! I never have heard of #Tistheseasonathon so this was very interesting and it sounds a great idea! I should get into the habit of reading more. 🙂
