The Sunday Post | 21 April 2025
Dear Bookbugs,
I am back with another Sunday post. This is my first Sunday post of the year. If you don’t know already, the Sunday Post is a book meme hosted by Kimberley @CaffeinatedReviewer. It is a roundup of all things bookish or otherwise that you wish to share with your fellow readers.
2025 has been a crazy year for me, personally. A lot of big changes happened in my life. And it is still not stopping. I might have to move from where I live for work by late July or August. So there is that. A lot of unknown variables in my life equation right now. Other than my health, it has been good so far. I am perfectly fine right now, but I do have bronchitis and occasional bronchospasms and it hasn’t been kind sometimes this year. I am taking my medication and I am perfectly fine for the time being with a lot of precautions. Let’s hope it stays that way.
Here is me giving you a quick update on the previous week and things to look forward to in the coming week in terms of reading:

Post of the Week
Usually this is the section where I share a review that caught my eye from a fellow book blogger. But today I want to share something different. I came across this blog post by SukainaWriters . It’s called Likhe Jo Khat Tujhe : The A to Z of Love Songs. It was such a nostalgic posts about the songs that I grew up listening to as a kid. The post talks about some of the retro songs from the Bollwood Golden Era that are like a love letter. I think it is quite unique and the way she articulates her feelings about these songs were truly romantic. And what can be more romantic than songs that are like love letters?
Series of the Week
It’s summer, which means IPL season in the cricketing world. I have been a CSK supporter since 2008. Naturally, I needed a pick me up this season and I found out about a show on Netflix. Running Point is about basketball leagues and a female CEO taking charge when the team was written off for playoffs at the beginning of the season. And it stars Kate Hudson, who is one of my all-time favorite rom-com heroine. I binged it and it was just a fun show to binge on the weekend.
