I was about to get into a #readingslump but I somehow managed to avoid it by only reading books that I really knew would be my kind of books. Hence the similar ratings. Also, I tried to annotate for the first time - a fantasy which was a sequel - and had to DNF it temporarily. I couldn't remember much about the first book since its been a minute since I read that. So maybe I'll revisit it after brushing up on book one. Let me know how your August #readingwrapup was in the comments.

#annotating my very first #book . I have been apprehensive about this for so many years. I still cannot write on the margins. But someone on #bookstagram told me to give it a try because they were like me too and I finally found the courage. It was a great experience. I'll be honest. I first tried to annotate a fantasy and ended up DNFing it. But then, I gave it another go with a #romancebook. I can easily look back at my favortie quotes or scenes now and even if it isn't as pretty as I dont have any artistic skills, I'm simply happy that I discovered a new way of enjoying a book.
