Narrative and Plot

All Rhodes Lead Here is a cozy, romantic comedy that offers something light-hearted without being too shallow. It feels like a breath of fresh air with its wholesome characters and a simple plot featuring emotionally rich individuals. We follow Aurora De la Torre, and it is through her perspective that we learn about this world and its characters.

In terms of pacing, this is a slow-burn romance. The story takes its sweet time to develop both the romance and other relationships, making every precious moment feel well-earned. It’s more of a hangout book, which ultimately leaves you feeling good.

Characters and Conflicts

Aurora is our protagonist, and what I love most about her is that she is not exactly the strongest person in a physical sense. She might cry over a long trail and be scared of bats, but emotionally, she is one of the strongest characters I’ve read recently. Even if she is not sure which direction her life will take, she knows what she wants and manages to keep her hope and trust in others alive, despite what life throws her way.

Her relationship with Amos was heartwarming to read as it progressed throughout the book. However, Tobias Rhodes joins the long list of leading men who seem unreal—though there might be amazing people like him around if we look closely enough.

By now, you can see that this is a sweet romance between two emotionally healthy adults, and I’m here for it.

Despite having an extraordinary backstory, Aurora remains a relatable character. In the end, you can feel the peace when she finds her place in the world.

Conclusion

All Rhodes Lead Here is one of those rom-coms you might find yourself returning to when you need a pick-me-up. To conclude, it gave me The Simple Wild vibes, only with a lot more hiking.
