When I picked up Mile High, I was looking for a fun romantic comedy to escape. It provided me with a wholesome story that is quite enjoyable.

Funny Feelings is a straightforward romantic comedy. It has the friends-to-lovers and fake dating trope but it subverts our expectations by keeping things simple.

A Winter in New York | By Josie Silver

While romance is a big part of A Winter in New York, it is actually a romantic take on Iris’s life in New York. The book is more about her fresh start and the grief and trauma that she left behind.

War of the Wind | By Victoria Williamson

War of the Wind is a novel that discusses some of the grim aspects of technology and touches on the topic of disability through the voice of a child. There is more heart to it when all this comes from a child’s perspective.
