Dear Bookbugs,
It is time for another WWW Wednesday book meme.
The WWW Wednesday meme was hosted by MizV at A Daily Rhythm. It is now revived by Taking a World of Words.
This is a simple meme where you have to answer the three W’s of a reader’s life.
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
And then link the host’s blog to your post and, if possible, leave a comment in theirs.
1)What are you currently reading?
Currently, I am reading There’s Something About Mira which is a contemporary women’s fiction coming of age book with a touch of romance. I am halfway through the book and loving it so far. We follow Mira, who has to go alone on her engagement trip to New York. Everyone thinks Mira has the perfect life, and she is lucky to have it. But in New York, she finds a lost ring and posts about it online. The post goes viral and now she is on a journey to return the ring to its rightful owner along with a brooding journalist Krish Hale who is adamant about getting this human interest story for himself.
2)What did you recently finish reading?
The last book I read was Ace, Marvel, Spy by Jenni L Walsh. It is a fictional take on Alice Marble’s life based on her autobiography. I learnt a lot about this tennis marvel through this fictionalised version. My review for this one will be out this week itself. It will, however be different than my usual reviews since it is based on a real-life person.
3)What do you think you’ll read next?
For my next read, we have While We’re Young by K L Walther. I don’t read a lot of YA these days, but this one is for a blog tour. The book is described in Goodreads as a “whirlwind romance inspired by Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”. We follow Grace, Isa and Everett, who used to be good friends until their love lives became complicated. There is some kind of love triangle thing going on and we also have a senior skip day where things finally come out in the open. I’m expecting heartbreak, drama and finally coming of age, resulting in a long lasting, enduring friendship. Hopefully, it delivers.
Those are my current reading updates. I hope you enjoyed reading about them. Let me know in the comments, what book are you planning to read next month?
Happy Reading Everyone!!
