Dear Bookbugs,
It is time for another WWW Wednesday book meme.
The WWW Wednesday meme was hosted by MizV at A Daily Rhythm. It is now revived by Taking a World of Words.
This is a simple meme where you have to answer the three W’s of a reader’s life.
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
And then link the host’s blog to your post and, if possible, leave a comment in theirs.
Here we go,
1) What are you currently reading?
Currently I’m reading The Fall is All There Is by C M Caplan for a blog tour. This is the first book in the Four of Mercies duology. The Fall is All There Is is a post-apocalyptic science fiction novel. We follow Petre Mercy who left his home five years ago on a cyborg horse. But now, his father – the king – is dead and his siblings have issued an ultimatum to return to the palace before the coronation of the successor. I am about to make half way through the book and it has been engaging so far. A detailed review will be available once I finish the book.
2) What did you recently finish reading?
The last book I finished reading was Not Another Love Song by Julie Soto. Honestly, I didn’t expect too much going into the book because it got mixed reviews. But then it started with great potential. However, the story meandered in the beginning and I had to agree with the reviews. A more detailed review of the book will be available soon.
.
3) What do you think you’ll read next?
The next book that I am planning to read is a NetGalley e-ARC even though the book is already published. Love, Camera, Action by Noel Stark is a contemporary romance between a director and a cinematographer. To be honest, I started reading the first two chapters and then realised I won’t be able to finish the blog tour book on time and took a break. So far, the book has the angsty romance vibe because of a forbidden romance angle. Coupled with the chaos and order of a filming set, this seems like a fun read.
Those are my current reading updates. I hope you enjoyed reading about them. Let me know in the comments, what book are you planning to read this week?
Happy Reading Everyone!!
