Dear Bookbugs,

It is time for another WWW Wednesday book meme.

The WWW Wednesday meme was hosted by MizV at A Daily Rhythm. It is now revived by Taking a World of Words.

This is a simple meme where you have to answer the three W’s of a reader’s life.

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?  And then link the host’s blog to your post and, if possible, leave a comment in theirs.

1)What are you currently reading?

I got a NetGalley e-ARC of the Perfectly Wicked. I am reading it right now and enjoying it more than I thought I would. The story follows the Celeste women who run an apple farm, Wicked Good Apples, and trying to live a quiet life. However, their quiet life takes a hit when Connor Grim, the host of the ghost hunting reality show, becomes interested in a ghost rumoured to be found in the apple orchard. I would say, the lesser you know the book, the better. It has all the spooky and witchy vibes, accompanied by a sizzling chemistry between the main leads.

I picked this one up on a whim. Honestly, I was going through a mild reading slump since September. All I needed was a witchy reading cure, it seems, because this one seemed to kick the slump out. I loved it. I was fun and quite the spooky October pick. Which led to a follow up with another witchy read, Perfectly Wicked. If you are looking for something that is not too scary but puts you in a spooky mood, Cackle is a perfect pick.

Honestly, I don’t know for sure if this is going to be my next pick. But after reading two back to back witchy books, I am thinking about breaking the pattern and pick something else so that I don’t get into a funk. The story follows Brynn who is recently divorced and lives with her roommate Josh. Upon making a birthday wish, she finds herself in the setting of her favorite 2000 teen soap opera along with her roommate Josh. Will she be able to find her own happily ever after in her comfort place is what we are going to find out in this rom-com. I mean, I am a serial Gilmore Girls binge watcher when I need a pick me up. So, I would be happy to be transported to Stars Hollow with my real-life version of Luke. Besides, this is giving me serious Novel Love Story vibe and I enjoyed that one too. So, I have high expectations from this one.

Those are my current reading updates. I hope you enjoyed reading about them. Let me know in the comments, what book are you planning to read this month?

Happy Reading Everyone!!
