Dear Bookbugs,
It is time for another WWW Wednesday book meme.
The WWW Wednesday meme was hosted by MizV at A Daily Rhythm. It is now revived by Taking a World of Words.
This is a simple meme where you have to answer the three W’s of a reader’s life.
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
And then link the host’s blog to your post and, if possible, leave a comment in theirs.
Here we go,
1) What are you currently reading?
Currently, I am reading Kindling by Bonnie Woods. There is no fall where I live, and this book just feels so much like fall that I decided to pick it up to vicariously experience fall through books. We follow Harper, who is just out of a long-term relationship. She arrived in Scotland to stay in a remote AirBNB,find herself and finally write her novel. But this didn’t go as planned and she finds herself staying at the cabin of a lumberjack named, Fraser. So far, this is your regular seasonal romance. My prediction is a three-star rating. Let’s see how that goes.
2) What did you recently finish reading?
The last book I finished reading was For the Love of Apricots. It is a romance taking place in a small mountainside village of Mukteshwar. I wasn’t a great fan of the romance. It had surface-level character development and very little chemistry between the main characters. I will be posting a detailed review of the book next week.
3) What do you think you’ll read next?
The next book that I am planning to read is Clementine Crane Prefers Not To. I have an e-ARC, and the book is coming out this month. It seems like the best time to read it. Clementine Crane is a woman experiencing perimenopause. And all of a sudden she realises that she had been doing it all so long in her life that everyone around her is taking her for granted. Now she decided to say no to things and set up her own boundaries. Well, this one sounds like a fun time, and I am really looking forward to reading it.
Those are my current reading updates. I hope you enjoyed reading about them. Let me know in the comments, what book are you planning to read this week?
Happy Reading Everyone!!
