I have always wanted to be a part of #blindbookdate and then @thepaperdolphin came up with the idea of preloved book subscription with your preferred genre. When I rattled out my preferences, I never expected to receive a book from an author that a past version of me followed intensely. A decade ago , I was in the search for a feel good #romanticcomedy book after back to back reading a few Sophie Kinsella books. Thats when I discovered Jill Mansel. I binge read many of her books. I dont even know if the copies I got are original versions or preloved ones or fake copies. Those were the books that I happened to find on one of those roadside book browsing on the footpaths of Delhi. And then, I went on my 2G internet to dig out more titles from the same author and made a list on my laptop. But online buying wasn't a thing back then and life got in the way and I stopped looking.
